Erman Canal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yüksel Çınar, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The Karaburun FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Seyfi Dertsiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Zülfü Ulunay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erman Canal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ahmet Ceyhan Acaröz. With a little luck, SÖNMEZSPOR's Erman Canal got control of the ball when Bora Türehan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Márk Pécsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Silbestre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Silbestre to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Javier Silbestre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SÖNMEZSPOR and the Karaburun FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SÖNMEZSPOR getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Javier Silbestre hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Osman Nuri Kolçak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erman Canal. SÖNMEZSPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osman Nuri Kolçak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Javier Silbestre managed to get in a good position for a shot. SÖNMEZSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Silbestre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márk Pécsi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bora Türehan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Erman Canal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márk Pécsi had in the 76thth minute some difficulties stopping İsrafil Ersayın's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 80th minute, Birkan Atay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SÖNMEZSPOR's Javier Silbestre got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The corner led SÖNMEZSPOR's İsrafil Ersayın to fire away a dangerous shot which Márk Pécsi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. SÖNMEZSPOR's Erman Canal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osman Nuri Kolçak in the 87th minute of play. Bora Türehan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
