Spectators: 8006 (Terracing: 6006, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kurtuluş Gelenbe started the match with the kick off. SÖNMEZSPOR's Szilárd Kiss got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when SÖNMEZSPOR's Javier Silbestre in the 5th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Yiğitcan İncili was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Darıca Gençlerbirliği through an amazing save. In the 7th minute of the match SÖNMEZSPOR got a corner. Darıca Gençlerbirliği's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. İsrafil Ersayın ran over to the corner to take the kick. SÖNMEZSPOR's İsrafil Ersayın was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yiğitcan İncili in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kurtuluş Gelenbe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erman Canal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Darıca Gençlerbirliği's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frode Ruud in the 20th minute. After taking down the ball on Darıca Gençlerbirliği's corner Enginalp Hinoğlu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erman Canal quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Enginalp Hinoğlu put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Erman Canal. Seyfi Dertsiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Darıca Gençlerbirliği's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Silbestre came free, but Yiğitcan İncili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind SÖNMEZSPOR's goalkeeper Erman Canal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 60 minutes SÖNMEZSPOR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frode Ruud who took care of the corner kick. 65 minutes into the match, SÖNMEZSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Birdal Alyakut came free, but Erman Canal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erman Canal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birdal Alyakut in the 92nd minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Oğuzhan Sarıaslan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to SÖNMEZSPOR getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. İsrafil Ersayın hit a great ball. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind SÖNMEZSPOR's goalkeeper Erman Canal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Darıca Gençlerbirliği eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
