SÖNMEZSPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radu Cartiș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Szilárd Kiss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when SÖNMEZSPOR's Szilárd Kiss in the 20th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Abdullah Akoğlu was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for ÇAKABEY through an amazing save. Abdullah Akoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Silbestre in the 27th minute of the match. Erman Canal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serdar Aziz in the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ÇAKABEY's Radu Cartiș got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Abdullah Akoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Silbestre in the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabrizio Ravanelli in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erman Canal saved SÖNMEZSPOR from getting behind. After a rather tough play, ÇAKABEY's Hasan Ali Akad got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute of the match, Szilárd Kiss tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abdullah Akoğlu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SÖNMEZSPOR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by İsrafil Ersayın in the 40th minute. Erman Canal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Ravanelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After 49 minutes SÖNMEZSPOR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yahya Oray who took care of the corner kick. The corner led ÇAKABEY's Yahya Oray to fire away a dangerous shot which Erman Canal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half ÇAKABEY were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Radu Cartiș managed to get in a good position for a shot. ÇAKABEY's supporters rose to their feet, but Radu Cartiș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erman Canal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Szilárd Kiss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Abdullah Akoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Javier Silbestre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdullah Akoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İstemihan Yusuf hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, SÖNMEZSPOR's goalkeeper Erman Canal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrizio Ravanelli. In the 67th minute, Hasan Ali Akad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match İsrafil Ersayın shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdullah Akoğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by ÇAKABEY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. İsrafil Ersayın was slow to take the kick. During this time SÖNMEZSPOR's players had a chance to rest. Javier Silbestre was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. ÇAKABEY's Herman Ekelund was substituted for Necmi Baybora. In the 78th match minute, SÖNMEZSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İstemihan Yusuf to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, SÖNMEZSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Cartiș came free, but Erman Canal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, İstemihan Yusuf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erman Canal came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by ÇAKABEY's Radu Cartiș. But to his dismay, Radu Cartiș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Erman Canal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdi Bozkurt, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, ÇAKABEY's Hasan Ali Akad got a free kick in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Javier Silbestre managed to get in a good position for a shot. SÖNMEZSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Silbestre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdullah Akoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The SÖNMEZSPOR supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ÇAKABEY's performance. The match ended with a win for ÇAKABEY.
