Ahmet Gündüz Seci hit a great ball. Edvin van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Suat Tengiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atak's Gürhan Şen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Atak from getting a goal against them. With his leg Gürhan Şen managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Senator S.A.K's Edoardo Pasin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Suat Tengiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game, Sílvio Luís Nogueira dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After some careless play in the Atak defense, Sílvio Luís Nogueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gürhan Şen. The Atak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gürhan Şen should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Senator S.A.K's Sílvio Luís Nogueira got a free kick in the 58th minute. Gürhan Şen came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Senator S.A.K's Edoardo Pasin. But to his dismay, Edoardo Pasin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Edoardo Pasin sped through Atak's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gürhan Şen. 81 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luís Nogueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gürhan Şen. Atak's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Luís Nogueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. 86 minutes into the match, Edoardo Pasin notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of Atak's Gürhan Şen. Gürhan Şen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute of the match, Suat Tengiz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edvin van der Sar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gürhan Şen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Pasin in the 90th minute of play.
