In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind ☪ Ay-Yıldız ☪'s goalkeeper Ufuk Ağın, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gafur Alatay in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ufuk Ağın, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Harald Ingemarssons short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Okaner Candar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Galip Kayrak in the 93rd minute of play forced BeyoğluJK's goalkeeper Okaner Candar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ☪ Ay-Yıldız ☪ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
