The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tansel Akdoğan kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. FK Elbistan's Epifanio Mitxaut got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Elbistan's goalkeeper Ali Haydar Sahir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Çağatay Onuralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A well done corner resulted in Zikri İlkay drilling the ball in to score 3-1 behind Maraşkent FK's goalkeeper.
