Nicolas Anelka started the match with the kick off. Turan Hinoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cihangir Kerimhan in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Cihangir Kerimhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turan Hinoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6thth minute of the game Cihangir Kerimhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Çankayabirlik's Turan Hinoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Anelka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Turan Hinoğlu was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the game, KAYIHANSPOR's Nicolas Anelka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Turan Hinoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Artur Hensmans really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Anelka in the 30th minute of play forced Çankayabirlik's goalkeeper Turan Hinoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Çankayabirlik's Aziz Ülküm got a free kick in the 30th minute. Turan Hinoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cihangir Kerimhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çankayabirlik's Turan Hinoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cihangir Kerimhan in the 34th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Cihangir Kerimhan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Turan Hinoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 48 minutes into the game, KAYIHANSPOR's Ahmet Hasan Yergin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Turan Hinoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. KAYIHANSPOR's Onur Şahtürk was substituted for Ahmet Hasan Yergin. After the first half KAYIHANSPOR were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artur Hensmans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Anelka got free with Turan Hinoğlu in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Artur Hensmans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Çankayabirlik's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Hensmans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikolai Vejtsbøl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Çankayabirlik's Cazimir Strungă got a free kick in the 60th minute. Nicolas Anelka did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Turan Hinoğlu 61 minutes into the match. Turan Hinoğlu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Onur Şahtürk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 64 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Cuarto in the 66th minute of play forced Çankayabirlik's goalkeeper Turan Hinoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Serbülent Tuğsav managed to get in a good position for a shot. Çankayabirlik's supporters rose to their feet, but Serbülent Tuğsav was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Turan Hinoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Cuarto, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Çankayabirlik's Turan Hinoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Cuarto in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Amador Acha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Turan Hinoğlu, 1-7. In the 78th minute Nicolas Anelka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turan Hinoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Turan Hinoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cihangir Kerimhan in the 80th minute. A collision led to Çankayabirlik getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Yavuz Selimhan Durcan hit a great ball. KAYIHANSPOR's Mehmet Akif Uraz was substituted for Sven Biörkman. The supporters of KAYIHANSPOR booed when Çankayabirlik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuz Selimhan Durcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. KAYIHANSPOR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amador Acha in the 84th minute. The corner led KAYIHANSPOR's Amador Acha to fire away a dangerous shot which Turan Hinoğlu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 89th minute, Nicolas Anelka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KAYIHANSPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-9. After 92 minutes of play, KAYIHANSPOR's Nicolas Anelka made it 1-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Turan Hinoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 97 played minutes KAYIHANSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Aktuğ Adar. KAYIHANSPOR's Nikolai Vejtsbøl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cazimir Strungă in the 100th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded KAYIHANSPOR left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Çankayabirlik.
