Arif Memduh Timurcan started the match with the kick off. Şafak Açıkalın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Turan Hinoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Yu Xi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Turan Hinoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Xi in the 7th minute of play. Çankayabirlik's Turan Hinoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Xi in the 9th minute of play. H E P T A N FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kuzey Ustam in the 10th minute. Turan Hinoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute of the match, Hulk Büyükada tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arif Bilge Tokyürek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, H E P T A N FC's Arif Bilge Tokyürek got control of the ball when Arif Memduh Timurcan tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Çankayabirlik getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Denis Pradelles hit a great ball. Şafak Açıkalın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Aziz Ülküm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yu Xi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Turan Hinoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Pradelles during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulk Büyükada in the 36th minute of play forced H E P T A N FC's goalkeeper Arif Bilge Tokyürek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arif Bilge Tokyürek was a little too slow when Hulk Büyükada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-1. Turan Hinoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murat Akpınar in the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of Çankayabirlik booed when H E P T A N FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şafak Açıkalın didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Yu Xi managed to get in a good position for a shot. H E P T A N FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yu Xi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Turan Hinoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Turan Hinoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yu Xi's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Arif Bilge Tokyürek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulk Büyükada, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

In the 53rd minute, Yu Xi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Turan Hinoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yu Xi got free with Turan Hinoğlu in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hulk Büyükada hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The supporters of H E P T A N FC booed when Çankayabirlik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aziz Ülküm didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Yu Xi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Turan Hinoğlu was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Şafak Açıkalın was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. H E P T A N FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 64th match minute, Çankayabirlik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agah Kocaker to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute Yu Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turan Hinoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Çankayabirlik made a substitution. Bektaş Veli Atay replaced Aziz Ülküm. Çankayabirlik's Serbülent Tuğsav was substituted for Mustafa Yaşar Kuyas. Yu Xi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Turan Hinoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Xi in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, H E P T A N FC's Şafak Açıkalın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Turan Hinoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 77 minutes into the game, when Macit Taşel put in a rough tackle. 76 minutes into the game, one of H E P T A N FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Arif Bilge Tokyürek had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Hulk Büyükada's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Hulk Büyükada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arif Bilge Tokyürek. H E P T A N FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hulk Büyükada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Agah Kocaker was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 81 played minutes Çankayabirlik got a freekick which was hit by Agah Kocaker. Arif Bilge Tokyürek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Strungă in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Cazimir Strungă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Bilge Tokyürek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Murat Akpınar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Turan Hinoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arif Bilge Tokyürek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Strungă in the 97th minute of play.
