The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Laboon SK's Yan Sha Yin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Çakır Uluç made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Laboon SK booed when KAYIHANSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihangir Kerimhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Yan Sha Yin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Çakır Uluç was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 10thth minute of the game Yan Sha Yin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KAYIHANSPOR's Çakır Uluç was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, KAYIHANSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when İrfan Genç came free, but Çakır Uluç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şener Irmak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aktuğ Adar in the 14th minute of the match. Şener Irmak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Hasan Yergin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laboon SK's Şener Irmak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Anelka in the 16th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Aktuğ Adar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şener Irmak. Laboon SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aktuğ Adar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Laboon SK's Şener Irmak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Anelka in the 30th minute of play. Şener Irmak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hasan Yergin in the 33rd minute of play. Çakır Uluç made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Yan Sha Yin sent off a good shot on target. Şener Irmak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Cuarto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, Laboon SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tayyip Toktuğ to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Aktuğ Adar notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Laboon SK's Şener Irmak. Şener Irmak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Laboon SK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gökdeniz Karadeniz hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yan Sha Yin to make the kick off. Nicolas Anelka's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Şener Irmak firmly grabbed it by the left post. Laboon SK's Yan Sha Yin got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Ahmet Hasan Yergin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şener Irmak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cihangir Kerimhan got free with Şener Irmak in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Laboon SK's goal looked a bit too open when Cihangir Kerimhan came free, but Şener Irmak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Laboon SK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
