Bordo Mavi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tuna Karal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 34thth minute of the game Tuna Karal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bordo Mavi's Aytaç Dilsafa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tuna Karal might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aytaç Dilsafa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tuna Karal ran back to his position shaking his head. Francisco Loaisa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The Bordo Mavi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Beşiktaş çArşı were winning 0-2.

Beşiktaş çArşı's Atilla Kağan Mürşit was substituted for Jim Gustad. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Crawford Korff stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aytaç Dilsafa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tuna Karal's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes, Boudewijn Nelis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beşiktaş çArşı and the Bordo Mavi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bordo Mavi booed when Beşiktaş çArşı was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boudewijn Nelis didn't get a good kick on the ball.
