Ivar Sontman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Adnan Yildıran made a huge save. In the 20th match minute, TOKATSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Winograd to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beykoz 1908's goalkeeper Cristoforo Taranto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Norbert Winograd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristoforo Taranto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After 44 minutes, Mehmet Arif Bozlak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TOKATSPOR and the Beykoz 1908 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half TOKATSPOR were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Norbert Winograd made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Beykoz 1908's zone, Norbert Winograd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristoforo Taranto came out of the goal and Norbert Winograd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Arif Bozlak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cristoforo Taranto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beykoz 1908 made a substitution. Nils-Åke Nilsson replaced Ivar Sontman. Adnan Yildıran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Nilsson in the 74th minute of the match. In the 74th minute Nils-Åke Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adnan Yildıran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norbert Winograd struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Cristoforo Taranto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TOKATSPOR. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norbert Winograd in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristoforo Taranto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Khair ad-Din Barbarossa got free with Cristoforo Taranto in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of TOKATSPOR booed when Beykoz 1908 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kandemir Şehzat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute of the match TOKATSPOR got a corner. Beykoz 1908's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Khair ad-Din Barbarossa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristoforo Taranto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khair ad-Din Barbarossa in the 86th minute of the match. Beykoz 1908's Cristoforo Taranto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Winograd in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Nils-Åke Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beykoz 1908's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Åke Nilsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Åke Nilsson in the 93rd minute of play forced TOKATSPOR's goalkeeper Adnan Yildıran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristoforo Taranto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Winograd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Beykoz 1908 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching TOKATSPOR's performance. The match ended with a win for TOKATSPOR.
