Cristoforo Taranto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dursun Yılğıralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Cristoforo Taranto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dursun Yılğıralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dursun Yılğıralp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristoforo Taranto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Xove Tijerina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuan Jian Ming in the 8th minute of play. Cristoforo Taranto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dursun Yılğıralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 13 minutes, Dursun Yılğıralp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POZANTI SPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dursun Yılğıralp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. POZANTI SPOR's Xove Tijerina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save POZANTI SPOR from getting a goal against them. Yuan Jian Ming's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xove Tijerina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After taking down the ball on POZANTI SPOR's corner Laurent Blanc fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristoforo Taranto quite easily take care of the ball. Xove Tijerina was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Evelio Madeo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evelio Madeo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Xove Tijerina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Madeo in the 24th minute of play. Dursun Yılğıralp got in the 27th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Cristoforo Taranto handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The POZANTI SPOR fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when POZANTI SPOR's Dursun Yılğıralp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 33rd minute, Fehmi Niyazi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yuan Jian Ming kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Cristoforo Taranto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dursun Yılğıralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. POZANTI SPOR's Xove Tijerina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save POZANTI SPOR from getting a goal against them. Beykoz 1908's Cristoforo Taranto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dursun Yılğıralp in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Beykoz 1908's goal looked a bit too open when Dursun Yılğıralp came free, but Cristoforo Taranto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

POZANTI SPOR made a substitution. Erhan Konuk replaced Vahdet İren. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dursun Yılğıralp to make the kick off. Xove Tijerina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivar Sontman's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Cristoforo Taranto made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Mattias Claudinger sent off a good shot on target. Xove Tijerina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Sontman in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, POZANTI SPOR's Yusuf Salah got a free kick in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, POZANTI SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Madeo came free, but Xove Tijerina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xove Tijerina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Madeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beykoz 1908's Cristoforo Taranto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dursun Yılğıralp in the 75th minute of play. In the 80th minute Nils-Åke Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xove Tijerina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Yuan Jian Ming came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Beykoz 1908 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuan Jian Ming couldn't finish the play. Xove Tijerina came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Beykoz 1908's Evelio Madeo. But to his dismay, Evelio Madeo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 89th minute Yuan Jian Ming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xove Tijerina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fehmi Niyazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Taranto having to interfere.
