The corner led to LİONS PEAK's Okan Buruk getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Miroslaw Nieuzyla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Feyzullay İltemur made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anıl Zaik got free with Feyzullay İltemur in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, LİONS PEAK's goalkeeper Feyzullay İltemur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Korkut Kırgız. Mondi Muslera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Marquez in the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE's Róbert Varga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feyzullay İltemur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Okan Buruk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mondi Muslera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Laerte Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. LİONS PEAK's supporters rose to their feet, but Laerte Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mondi Muslera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

FENERBAHÇE's Anıl Zaik quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elmar Tuulemaa, made in the 50th minute of the game. Laerte Marquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mondi Muslera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Mondi Muslera was a little too slow when Laerte Marquez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-2. LİONS PEAK made a substitution. Vecdi Heper replaced Okan Buruk. 68 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE's goal looked a bit too open when Zaid Cevahir came free, but Mondi Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Korkut Kırgız fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feyzullay İltemur having to interfere. FENERBAHÇE's Wiktor Naumowicz was substituted for Anıl Zaik.
