Atahan Durdu started the match with the kick off. Cláudio Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atahan Durdu in the 4th minute of play. Cláudio Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Alwege, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dündar Ozansu lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in AKÇEŞMESPOR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! North Port UTD's Geofredo Fox proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save North Port UTD from getting a goal against them. In the 24th match minute, AKÇEŞMESPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Baran Aydın to maneuver through the defense. Cláudio Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onuralp Ülküm in the 25th minute of the match. With his leg Geofredo Fox managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when AKÇEŞMESPOR's Mehmet Hakkı Suhan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cláudio Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atahan Durdu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Laureano Lisboa kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. AKÇEŞMESPOR's Cláudio Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onuralp Ülküm in the 44th minute of play. After 46 played minutes AKÇEŞMESPOR got a freekick which was hit by Leo Salomon. In the 47th minute Onuralp Ülküm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half North Port UTD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Hakkı Suhan to make the kick off. Cláudio Taffarel came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by North Port UTD's Dumitru Enoaia. But to his dismay, Dumitru Enoaia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dumitru Enoaia came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cláudio Taffarel could save by the left post. After 74 minutes, Mehmet Hakkı Suhan made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. North Port UTD's Geofredo Fox tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the North Port UTD defense, Vahdet Konguralp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geofredo Fox. The North Port UTD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geofredo Fox should have stopped the shot. AKÇEŞMESPOR made a substitution. Ahmet Vefik Soyurgal replaced Mustafa Hakan Mengü. Geofredo Fox showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vahdet Konguralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahdet Konguralp in the 86th minute of play forced North Port UTD's goalkeeper Geofredo Fox to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atahan Durdu got free with Cláudio Taffarel in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, AKÇEŞMESPOR's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atahan Durdu. Deivid De Souza hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, North Port UTD's Lucas Alwege sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cláudio Taffarel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to AKÇEŞMESPOR getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Deivid De Souza hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
