Spectators: 8459 (Terracing: 6345, Seating: 1945, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chesney Nicholson started the match with the kick off. Nurtekin Üner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baycan Selami in the 3rd minute of the match. Pacho Papachantzoulis might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nurtekin Üner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pacho Papachantzoulis ran back to his position shaking his head. Nurtekin Üner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baycan Selami, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 9th play minutes Cherry Evans shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Nurtekin Üner and just under the crossbar into goal. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by MERT FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hikmet Tulun was slow to take the kick. During this time Araklılı Avareler's players had a chance to rest. In the 15th minute, Ayasya Baycan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Chesney Nicholson came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the MERT FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chesney Nicholson couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute Cherry Evans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nurtekin Üner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baycan Selami took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nurtekin Üner. Nurtekin Üner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cherry Evans in the 26th minute of play forced MERT FC's goalkeeper Nurtekin Üner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nurtekin Üner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cherry Evans in the 30th minute of the match. Chesney Nicholson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the MERT FC defense, Baycan Selami kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nurtekin Üner. The MERT FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nurtekin Üner should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gică Hagi got free with Mehmet Çağakan in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cherry Evans in the 37th minute of play forced MERT FC's goalkeeper Nurtekin Üner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cherry Evans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nurtekin Üner was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After 39 minutes, Günay Doğanay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MERT FC and the Araklılı Avareler players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to MERT FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Günay Doğanay hit a great ball. The Araklılı Avareler fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Araklılı Avareler's Cherry Evans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nurtekin Üner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Ross in the 44th minute of the match. MERT FC's Nurtekin Üner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pacho Papachantzoulis in the 46th minute of play. Nurtekin Üner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cherry Evans went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The MERT FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Araklılı Avareler were winning 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cherry Evans made a kick off. After a rather tough play, MERT FC's Batıray İpekçi got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, MERT FC's Nurtekin Üner got control of the ball when Pacho Papachantzoulis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nurtekin Üner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cherry Evans in the 59th minute of the match. Nurtekin Üner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cherry Evans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nurtekin Üner came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Araklılı Avareler's Cherry Evans. But to his dismay, Cherry Evans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Nurtekin Üner made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Baycan Selami sent off a good shot on target. Nurtekin Üner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cherry Evans in the 70th minute. Nurtekin Üner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balamir Girgin in the 71st minute of the match. Aurelian Caciulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, MERT FC's goal looked a bit too open when Balamir Girgin came free, but Nurtekin Üner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 played minutes Araklılı Avareler got a freekick which was hit by Cherry Evans. 85 minutes into the game, Pacho Papachantzoulis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nurtekin Üner. Pacho Papachantzoulis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Nurtekin Üner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alperen Adıgün showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 88 minute of play. Nurtekin Üner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cahit Zülfü's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Gică Hagi managed to get in a good position for a shot. MERT FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gică Hagi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Çağakan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Araklılı Avareler played a much better game than MERT FC and deserved their victory. The MERT FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
