In the 13th minute Recep Çetin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdinç Yasık saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erdinç Yasık showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Estevez in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind MERT FC's goalkeeper Nurtekin Üner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erdinç Yasık showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Recep Çetin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. MERT FC's Nurtekin Üner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayri Yetişbey in the 23rd minute of play. JACKALS F.C. were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after MERT FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tugay Karaca took the corner. Tugay Karaca made a great header on JACKALS F.C.'s corner, it was just that MERT FC's Nurtekin Üner managed to reach the ball for a save.
