Julio Telesforo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ataman Kutun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trabzonspor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bedrettin Özaktuğ in the 24th minute. Trabzonspor's Bedrettin Özaktuğ was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Telesforo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Icardi got free with Yunus Civan in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Poyraz Ülgenalp hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the match Bedrettin Özaktuğ sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Telesforo skillfully saved the ball. In the 38th minute Lucio Claus suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johannes Baumjohann during the 38th minute. Bedrettin Özaktuğ took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 49th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Telesforo. ƒ¢ кคгค๔єภเz Ŧıгtıภครı's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 57 played minutes Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Buğrahan Uman. Yunus Civan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Icardi in the 59th minute of the match. Yunus Civan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ray Hayward, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berkay Secavend received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Yunus Civan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trabzonspor made a substitution. Duran Ersan replaced Agah Özver. After 73 played minutes Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Aybar Gürçınar. In the 76th minute Nazım Ekinoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yunus Civan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
