The Adana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adil Balamir should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Ercüment Acıbadem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adil Balamir. Adana FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ercüment Acıbadem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Erkut Tun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şadi Tolay in the 22nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Ercüment Acıbadem took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Adil Balamir to make any attempt to save it. Lionel Bolton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Adil Balamir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ercüment Acıbadem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th match minute, Adana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Bilge Geylani to maneuver through the defense. After 48 minutes of play, SubaV's Ercüment Acıbadem made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adil Balamir was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gencer Seri to make the kick off. In the 93rd minute Lionel Bolton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adil Balamir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
