Zafer Özgur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Yavuz Bülent Akbatu made a huge save. With a little luck, Navigators's Yavuz Bülent Akbatu got control of the ball when Wambasther Henry tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Wambasther Henry kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yavuz Bülent Akbatu. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cai Shi Feng in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Sedat Sefa saved Bendensin SK from getting behind. In the 20th minute of the match Navigators got a corner. Bendensin SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hakan Işık ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Navigators's corner Hakan Işık fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ahmet Sedat Sefa quite easily take care of the ball. Ahmet Sedat Sefa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Shi Feng in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cai Shi Feng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Sedat Sefa was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Ahmet Sedat Sefa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Kelaidonis in the 23rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Bendensin SK's Wambasther Henry got a free kick in the 60th minute. Navigators's Yavuz Bülent Akbatu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zafer Özgur in the 64th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Bendensin SK got a freekick which was hit by Şeray Kartay. Navigators were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Bendensin SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hakan Işık took the corner. The corner ended in Cai Shi Feng almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bendensin SK's Ahmet Sedat Sefa did a great save. Cai Shi Feng had several of the Bendensin SK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Ahmet Sedat Sefa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ahmet Malik's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Ahmet Sedat Sefa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bendensin SK's Ahmet Sedat Sefa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Bendensin SK from getting a goal against them. In the last second Ahmet Sedat Sefa throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ahmet Malik in the 95thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.
