The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arif Egemen Ilgaz kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. If Claudiu Răducanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yağızalp Sayyad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Răducanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Arif Egemen Ilgaz threw the ball into play from the sideline. MARAZZINO's Cafu Dolar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Yağızalp Sayyad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Răducanu in the 24th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as The Conqueror's Elvijs Presley slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lütfü Öktemer. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. 30 minutes into the game, MARAZZINO's Claudiu Răducanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yağızalp Sayyad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 35 minutes into the match, MARAZZINO's goal looked a bit too open when Indrek Kabonen came free, but Lütfü Öktemer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Indrek Kabonen managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Conqueror's supporters rose to their feet, but Indrek Kabonen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lütfü Öktemer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute Indrek Kabonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfü Öktemer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of The Conqueror booed when MARAZZINO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svetomir Maier didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elvijs Presley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MARAZZINO's Lütfü Öktemer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvijs Presley in the 65th minute of play. Lütfü Öktemer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvijs Presley, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 71 played minutes MARAZZINO got a freekick which was hit by Arman Miran. In the 71st minute of the match Víctor López shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lütfü Öktemer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozan Atılay in the 74th minute of play forced The Conqueror's goalkeeper Yağızalp Sayyad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Elvijs Presley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfü Öktemer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, The Conqueror's Elvijs Presley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lütfü Öktemer narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
