In the 3rd minute, Shabeb Al Hindi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mody Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Mody Team's Falah Al Qattan in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abingdon's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Mody Team booed when Abingdon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ghasan Al Habshi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Falah Al Qattan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mody Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Falah Al Qattan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esmael Al Amer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 19 played minutes Abingdon got a freekick which was hit by Ghasan Al Habshi. After 20 minutes, Shabeb Al Hindi made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Abingdon's Esmael Al Amer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Falah Al Qattan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Esmael Al Amer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Abingdon's goal looked a bit too open when Shabeb Al Hindi came free, but Esmael Al Amer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes, Shabeb Al Hindi made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Abingdon's Esmael Al Amer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 30 minutes of play, Mody Team's Falah Al Qattan made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esmael Al Amer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Shabeb Al Hindi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shabeb Al Hindi took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esmael Al Amer. Esmael Al Amer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Esmael Al Amer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shabeb Al Hindi in the 43rd minute of play. Esmael Al Amer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Falah Al Qattan, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shabeb Al Hindi made a kick off. With his leg Esmael Al Amer managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Mody Team's Falah Al Qattan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Shabeb Al Hindi took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Esmael Al Amer to make any attempt to save it. Fahhad Al Sohali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bassam Al Abdullah in the 62nd minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Shabeb Al Hindi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Esmael Al Amer, 0-10. Mody Team's attentive Fahhad Al Hammady managed to snatch the ball when Karem Al Barrak made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. Esmael Al Amer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shabeb Al Hindi in the 76th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Abingdon got a freekick which was hit by Abdul Mohsen Al Srae. A hard shot by Nayef Al Asuosi from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Esmael Al Amer's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Falah Al Qattan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Esmael Al Amer made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, Mody Team's goal looked a bit too open when Abdul Aziz Baroun came free, but Fahhad Al Sohali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mody Team's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
