Spectators: 8341 (Terracing: 6120, Seating: 2121, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mortada Al Mofede started the match with the kick off. Jassem Shamsah came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Medina's Sadeq Al Ali. But to his dismay, Sadeq Al Ali quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, FC Medina's Khalefa Khorshed got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Krisztián Horváth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Naem Al Hashash kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes FC Medina got a freekick which was hit by Sami Al Ammar. Sharf Al Mofede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jassem Shamsah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Gawhar Dashti managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Damac's Mortada Al Mofede fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 22nd match minute, FC Medina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sharf Al Mofede to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sadeq Al Ali in the 27th minute of play forced Damac's goalkeeper Jassem Shamsah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Damac booed when FC Medina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bashar Abo Al Hasan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sultan Baroun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sharf Al Mofede in the 33rd minute of play forced Damac's goalkeeper Jassem Shamsah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mortada Al Mofede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Gawhar Dashti made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, Mortada Al Mofede had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Khalefa Khorshed hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Gawhar Dashti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Ashkanani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sultan Baroun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gawhar Dashti having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sharf Al Mofede made a kick off. The supporters of Damac booed when FC Medina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riad Al Enzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damac's Jassem Shamsah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sadeq Al Ali in the 60th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Damac got a freekick which was hit by Dhari Al Amer. Jassem Al Asuosi struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jassem Shamsah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Medina. Damac's Omar Ashkanani got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71st play minutes Sultan Baroun shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Gawhar Dashti and just under the crossbar into goal. Jassem Shamsah didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Sharf Al Mofede kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 87th minute Sharf Al Mofede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jassem Shamsah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sultan Baroun came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Damac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sultan Baroun couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Damac's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Krisztián Horváth fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The FC Medina supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Medina would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
