Olimpiu Merișor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raed Al Holey lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to SAYA ᶠᵘᶜ ⁸³ getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Raed Al Holey hit a great ball. Nawaf Al Najdi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 17 minutes in the game, Erik Linqvist fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jassem Shamsah having to interfere. If Micah Levy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Damac booed when SAYA ᶠᵘᶜ ⁸³ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micah Levy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dhari Al Amer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cihan Birsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adem Al Mahmed got free with Jassem Shamsah in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When SAYA ᶠᵘᶜ ⁸³'s Olimpiu Merișor in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Damac's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAYA ᶠᵘᶜ ⁸³ the free kick. Gawhar Al Abdullah kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. A collision led to Damac getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sultan Baroun hit a great ball. Olimpiu Merișor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jassem Shamsah came out and tried to block the shot, but Olimpiu Merișor slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 84th minute, Adem Al Mahmed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nawaf Al Najdi struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Cihan Birsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Damac. For all the effort they put into the match, the Damac players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SAYA ᶠᵘᶜ ⁸³.
