When Habib Al Amer fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saudi Pro Team City's protests and gave Habib Al Amer a yellow card for diving instead. 32 minutes into the game, Younis Taqi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. 董斐霆 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sameer Al Enzi in the 37th minute of play forced Weir AFC's goalkeeper 董斐霆 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emiliano Bonifaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdelnaser Al Mahmed was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Saudi Pro Team City getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Fadhel Al Towatan hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Bonifaz in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bassam Al Hadad saved Saudi Pro Team City from getting behind. The supporters of Weir AFC booed when Saudi Pro Team City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sameer Al Enzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 played minutes Weir AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mostafa Al Hajri. 董斐霆 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamed Al Bloshi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Weir AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Younis Taqi came free, but 董斐霆 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Saudi Pro Team City booed when Weir AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sayed Al Hashash didn't get a good kick on the ball. Weir AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Bonifaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Saudi Pro Team City's Hamed Al Bloshi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 董斐霆 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Younis Taqi scored 5-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 董斐霆, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Saudi Pro Team City were the better team. Saudi Pro Team City's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
