Emiliano Bonifaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Mosalam Al Srae made a huge save. When Falah Al Qattan came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Steeple Claydon City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Falah Al Qattan couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Steeple Claydon City booed when Weir AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Bonifaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 董斐霆 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Steeple Claydon City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Emiliano Bonifaz scored to the left of an out of position Mosalam Al Srae, making the score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdelnaser Al Mahmed was the one to do the kick off. Mosalam Al Srae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Bonifaz in the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Weir AFC's zone, Falah Al Qattan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 董斐霆 came out of the goal and Falah Al Qattan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Emiliano Bonifaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Weir AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Falah Al Qattan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. 董斐霆 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdelnaser Al Mahmed in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mosalam Al Srae saved Steeple Claydon City from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Abdelnaser Al Mahmed's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mosalam Al Srae was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Ghanim Shams charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ghanim Shams the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Steeple Claydon City's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
