Penistone's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. When Othman Al Shaikh came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Al-Ahli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Othman Al Shaikh couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Othman Al Shaikh made a precise shot to the right of Mnawer Boften. Penistone's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matey Dachevski to make the kick off. Penistone's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Othman Al Shaikh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Shaban Al Motaire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mnawer Boften tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Al-Ahli getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Matey Dachevski hit a great ball. Mnawer Boften made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matey Dachevski in the 81st minute. Matey Dachevski didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-9 via right post in the game's 83rd minute. Al-Ahli's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Mnawer Boften showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mamdouh Hayat in the 86th minute of the match. A very nice done corner allowed Matey Dachevski to score against Mnawer Boften in Penistone's goal. 0-10 after 87 minutes. When Shaban Al Motaire came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Al-Ahli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shaban Al Motaire couldn't finish the play. Al-Ahli's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
