Mnawer Boften came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by SLYTHERIN's Qasem Al Qatam. But to his dismay, Qasem Al Qatam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Qasem Al Qatam struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Mnawer Boften didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SLYTHERIN. Mahmoud Al Herz kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Zahid Yusifov managed to get in a good position for a shot. SLYTHERIN's supporters rose to their feet, but Zahid Yusifov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. SLYTHERIN's Giovanni Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of SLYTHERIN booed when Penistone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naem Al Habshi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes, Faraj Al Saffar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penistone and the SLYTHERIN players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute Charles Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mnawer Boften saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mnawer Boften showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Lenertej in the 36th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Naem Al Habshi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Zahid Yusifov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mnawer Boften saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Penistone's Mnawer Boften played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Lenertej in the 65th minute of play. Mnawer Boften made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Barreto in the 66th minute of play. Florian Lenertej received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mnawer Boften tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Penistone's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Florian Lenertej 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. Mnawer Boften made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Qasem Al Qatam sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as SLYTHERIN's Giovanni Barreto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mnawer Boften. That made the score 0-7 after 80 minutes of play. 84 minutes into the match, Zahid Yusifov notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Penistone's Mnawer Boften. Mnawer Boften was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 87 minutes into the match, Penistone's goalkeeper Mnawer Boften had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovanni Barreto. Florian Lenertej recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Penistone's Mnawer Boften got control of the ball when Zahid Yusifov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 92 played minutes Penistone got a freekick which was hit by Jarah Shrean. The Penistone fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SLYTHERIN were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
