Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Gleb Ermakov kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Vasiliy Lovchev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, FC Baikal's Nikolay Simonov threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vasiliy Lovchev, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dmitriy Losev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Nikolay Simonov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehis Liivak came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Armavir's Mauricio Bero. But to his dismay, Mauricio Bero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Mauricio Bero struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Mehis Liivak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Armavir. Dmitriy Losev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Gleb Ermakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Armavir's Mauricio Bero got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauricio Bero was the one to do the kick off. Mauricio Bero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimir Vozovik during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Baikal booed when FC Armavir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Vozovik didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Armavir's Nikolay Simonov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasiliy Lovchev in the 79th minute of play. Mauricio Bero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehis Liivak having to interfere. FC Armavir made a substitution. Georgiy Afonchenko replaced Malcolm Österberg. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Armavir's goalkeeper Nikolay Simonov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
