The supporters of Saransk booed when Dynamo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Zherebtsov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anatoliy Bartini hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Saransk's Arkadiy Abramov broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Porfiriy Artamonov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitaliy Bulychov went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Porfiriy Artamonov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Kachinskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Gorshkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladlen Leshinskiy having to interfere. Porfiriy Artamonov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Belov in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Vitaliy Bulychov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Porfiriy Artamonov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Denis Kachinskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Vsevolod Turov made the kick off in the second half. Saransk's Vladlen Leshinskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Gorshkov in the 55th minute of play. Denis Kachinskiy struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Porfiriy Artamonov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saransk. Porfiriy Artamonov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vitaliy Bulychov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. After 68 played minutes Dynamo FC got a freekick which was hit by Yan Zuev. In the 73rd minute, Timur Belov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dynamo FC were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Saransk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rostislav Burkin took the corner. Dynamo FC's Porfiriy Artamonov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Kachinskiy in the 79th minute of play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saransk's goalkeeper Vladlen Leshinskiy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Porfiriy Artamonov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Kachinskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Dynamo FC's goalkeeper Porfiriy Artamonov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitaliy Bulychov. 97 minutes into the game, Miron Kofanov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saransk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dynamo FC the free kick. After 97 played minutes Saransk got a freekick which was hit by Miron Kofanov. When the match was over Saransk could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dynamo FC throughout the match.
