Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roman Dvorkin started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Maykop HC's Roman Dvorkin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maykop HC's Konstantin Kulikov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Maykop HC from getting a goal against them. Konstantin Kulikov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lev Kovtun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikhail Afanasenko in the 17th minute of play forced Maykop HC's goalkeeper Konstantin Kulikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lev Kovtun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Konstantin Kulikov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Maykop HC's Konstantin Kulikov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikhail Afanasenko in the 30th minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Lev Kovtun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maykop HC's Konstantin Kulikov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denis Aganin's late challenge caught a Pskov's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Aganin helped the player get up and apologised. 39 minutes into the game, Pskov's Petr Dalechin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Konstantin Kulikov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Lev Kovtun struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Konstantin Kulikov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pskov. Denis Aganin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Lev Kovtun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantin Kulikov having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lev Kovtun to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Maykop HC's goal looked a bit too open when Mikhail Afanasenko came free, but Konstantin Kulikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Maykop HC's Roman Dvorkin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. When Lev Kovtun came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Pskov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lev Kovtun couldn't finish the play. Konstantin Kulikov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lev Kovtun, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Maykop HC's Georgiy Bachaldin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. Lev Kovtun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Konstantin Kulikov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Lev Kovtun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konstantin Kulikov was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Konstantin Kulikov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lev Kovtun in the 76th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lev Kovtun in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstantin Kulikov saved Maykop HC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Maykop HC's zone, Mikhail Afanasenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantin Kulikov came out of the goal and Mikhail Afanasenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Pskov's Lev Kovtun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konstantin Kulikov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Maykop HC's Arkadiy Nesterov got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
