Vladislav Rozhkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilya Shvedov having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Valentin Terentiev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Spartak Paroshin. Valentin Terentiev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Kyzyl HC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Terentiev came free, but Spartak Paroshin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kyzyl HC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ernest Kerzhakov was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Port's players had a chance to rest. FC Port's Ernest Kerzhakov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Spartak Paroshin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Valentin Terentiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Port's zone, Ilya Poroshin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilya Shvedov came out of the goal and Ilya Poroshin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Port's Ilya Shvedov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilya Poroshin in the 25th minute of play. Ilya Poroshin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilya Shvedov having to interfere. Ippolit Akunin struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Spartak Paroshin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Port. In the 36thth minute of the game Valentin Terentiev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kyzyl HC's Spartak Paroshin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valentin Terentiev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Spartak Paroshin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. If Vladislav Rozhkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ilya Poroshin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vladislav Rozhkov hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ilya Shvedov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilya Poroshin in the 56th minute of play. Ilya Shvedov was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Ilya Poroshin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ilya Poroshin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 63rd minute Valentin Terentiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spartak Paroshin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Terentiev in the 65th minute of play forced Kyzyl HC's goalkeeper Spartak Paroshin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Terentiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Kyzyl HC defense, Valentin Terentiev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Spartak Paroshin. The Kyzyl HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Spartak Paroshin should have stopped the shot.
