Cherepovets FC's Roman Bogdanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Kochetov in the 17th minute of play. Egor Solodnikov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Kochetov in the 21st minute of play forced Cherepovets FC's goalkeeper Roman Bogdanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Bogdanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislav Kochetov in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Arsenal Tula getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nikolay Kobzarev hit a great ball. A hard shot by Nikita Larichev from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Albert Moskvin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Egor Solodnikov scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Bogdanov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, Nikita Larichev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Arsenal Tula booed when Cherepovets FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Chernushkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Bogdanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egor Solodnikov in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egor Solodnikov in the 48th minute of play forced Cherepovets FC's goalkeeper Roman Bogdanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arseniy Korvatskiy was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Cherepovets FC's goal looked a bit too open when Egor Solodnikov came free, but Roman Bogdanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Arsenal Tula's goal looked a bit too open when Arseniy Korvatskiy came free, but Albert Moskvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Egor Solodnikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Bogdanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cherepovets FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arsenal Tula's performance. The match ended with a win for Arsenal Tula.
