Viktor Karlikov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oleg Papanin, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 6 minutes into the game, Aleksandr Fenyak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Velikie Luki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PFCZloiRock the free kick. Viktor Karlikov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Leonid Dolgopolov made a precise shot to the right of Viktor Karlikov. Velikie Luki's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Velikie Luki's Vladislav Fanagin got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 19 minutes, Leonid Dolgopolov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PFCZloiRock and the Velikie Luki players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, PFCZloiRock's Leonid Dolgopolov got a free kick in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Aleksandr Fenyak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velikie Luki's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksandr Fenyak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleksandr Seleznev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Velikie Luki's Viktor Karlikov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Abramovich in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Oleg Papanin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PFCZloiRock fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Viktor Karlikov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Abramovich's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Velikie Luki's Aleksandr Fenyak got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mstislav Demenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Karlikov having to interfere. The supporters of PFCZloiRock booed when Velikie Luki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksandr Gluhov didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Maksim Serebryanikov came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the PFCZloiRock fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maksim Serebryanikov couldn't finish the play. Viktor Karlikov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oleg Papanin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
In the 51st match minute, PFCZloiRock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maksim Serebryanikov to maneuver through the defense. Aleksandr Gluhov's late challenge caught a PFCZloiRock's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aleksandr Gluhov helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Velikie Luki's Aleksandr Gluhov got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Denis Abramovich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leonid Dolgopolov came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the PFCZloiRock fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonid Dolgopolov couldn't finish the play. Oleg Papanin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denis Abramovich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Denis Abramovich's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viktor Karlikov was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Aleksandr Fenyak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Aleksandr Seleznev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Karlikov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oleg Papanin went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Viktor Karlikov was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Leonid Dolgopolov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonid Dolgopolov really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. When the final whistle sounded PFCZloiRock left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Velikie Luki.
