The crowd rose to their feet as Eliodor Unciuleanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Viktor Karlikov. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Viktor Karlikov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eevald Haiba in the 8th minute. Efim Petuhov struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Viktor Karlikov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Omsk FC. Viktor Karlikov was a little too slow when Evgeniy Vinogradov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. Vladimir Groshkov made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Stanislav Kurts immediately put the ball in play. After 26 minutes, Eliodor Unciuleanu made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Velikie Luki's Viktor Karlikov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Eevald Haiba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viktor Karlikov. Velikie Luki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eevald Haiba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Evgeniy Alekseev kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Omsk FC's Eliodor Unciuleanu got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the game, Konstantin Rozanov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Viktor Karlikov. Konstantin Rozanov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aleksandr Fenyak made a kick off. Velikie Luki's Viktor Karlikov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evgeniy Vinogradov in the 57th minute of play. Viktor Salmonovich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliodor Unciuleanu in the 62nd minute of play forced Velikie Luki's goalkeeper Viktor Karlikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Eliodor Unciuleanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Omsk FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliodor Unciuleanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Karlikov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viktor Karlikov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliodor Unciuleanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Velikie Luki's Viktor Karlikov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Rozanov in the 67th minute of play. Omsk FC's attentive Evgeniy Vinogradov managed to snatch the ball when Evgeniy Alekseev made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Eliodor Unciuleanu sped through Velikie Luki's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Viktor Karlikov. Aleksandr Gluhov kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Eliodor Unciuleanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viktor Karlikov was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Vladislav Fanagin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omsk FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
