Irkutsk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neftekamsk the free kick. 12 minutes into the match, Neftekamsk's goalkeeper Ruslan Bidash had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marat Abrasimov. Modest Golovatskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ruslan Bidash tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruslan Bidash was a little too slow when Modest Golovatskiy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Marat Abrasimov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruslan Bidash having to interfere. When Irkutsk's Marat Abrasimov in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Neftekamsk's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Neftekamsk's Ruslan Bidash got control of the ball when Marat Abrasimov tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Irkutsk booed when Neftekamsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artem Babushkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Modest Golovatskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marat Abrasimov got free with Ruslan Bidash in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yaroslav Morozov got free with Ruslan Bidash in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Neftekamsk's goal looked a bit too open when Modest Golovatskiy came free, but Ruslan Bidash reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Modest Golovatskiy made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efim Gontar in the 51st minute of play forced Irkutsk's goalkeeper Viktor Dvorzhetskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Marat Abrasimov notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Neftekamsk's Ruslan Bidash. Ruslan Bidash was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruslan Bidash took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modest Golovatskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marat Abrasimov in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruslan Bidash saved Neftekamsk from getting behind. If Modest Golovatskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruslan Bidash took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modest Golovatskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modest Golovatskiy took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruslan Bidash. Ruslan Bidash dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Artem Babushkin struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Viktor Dvorzhetskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neftekamsk. After a rather tough play, Irkutsk's Yaroslav Morozov got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Artem Babushkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modest Golovatskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruslan Bidash took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gleb Odinokov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Modest Golovatskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruslan Bidash was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Neftekamsk's Ruslan Bidash played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modest Golovatskiy in the 90th minute of play. Ruslan Bidash took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marat Abrasimov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Neftekamsk players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Irkutsk.
