Jian Shang Di's German Veretennikov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herauso Montiel in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, NEVA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vadim Makarov came free, but Vitaliy Scherbakov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jian Shang Di's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Herauso Montiel scored to the left of an out of position German Veretennikov, making the score, 2-0. In the 28th minute, Emilian Burduja made a precise shot to the right of German Veretennikov. Jian Shang Di's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 31st minute Herauso Montiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Veretennikov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Veretennikov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. In the 44th minute, NEVA FC's Herauso Montiel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind German Veretennikov. German Veretennikov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Denis Sergeev's late challenge caught a Jian Shang Di's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Sergeev helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th minute, Denis Sergeev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aleksandr Baggovut was the one to do the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jian Shang Di fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave NEVA FC a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. After a defensive mix-up in Jian Shang Di's zone, Herauso Montiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Veretennikov came out of the goal and Herauso Montiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Emilian Burduja had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of German Veretennikov. Jian Shang Di's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilian Burduja was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Vadim Makarov hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Herauso Montiel came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the NEVA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herauso Montiel couldn't finish the play. German Veretennikov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Burduja in the 78th minute of the match. Vadim Makarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Vitaliy Scherbakov made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Denis Sergeev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. German Veretennikov was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After 88 minutes, Georgiy Italyankin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jian Shang Di and the NEVA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes Jian Shang Di got a freekick which was hit by Georgiy Italyankin. 93 minutes into the match, Jian Shang Di's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Sergeev came free, but German Veretennikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilya Gavrilchik during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jian Shang Di booed when NEVA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilya Gavrilchik didn't get a good kick on the ball. NEVA FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
