Tyumen FC's Daniil Nikiforov got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Daniil Nikiforov sped through Ivanovo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pavel Pervuhin. In the 22nd play minute Vitaliy Veniaminov came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pavel Pervuhin. 2-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Ivanovo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tyumen FC:s goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniil Nikiforov was the one to do the kick off. Pavel Pervuhin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy Veniaminov in the 53rd minute of the match. Georgiy Davydov charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Georgiy Davydov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Tyumen FC a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The Tyumen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 91 minutes into the match, Ivanovo's goal looked a bit too open when Daniil Nikiforov came free, but Pavel Pervuhin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniil Nikiforov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ivanovo's Spiridon Kuznetsov got a free kick in the 99th minute. A well done corner resulted in Daniil Nikiforov drilling the ball in to score 6-0 behind Ivanovo's goalkeeper. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tyumen FC had played much better football throughout.
