Gerasim Volkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Antoshkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yuriy Popovich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Sharonov in the 19th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artem Rozenbaum during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Artem Rozenbaum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Tver's goal looked a bit too open when Grigoriy Afinogenov came free, but Gerasim Volkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes of play, Odinzovo FC's Pavel Antoshkin made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerasim Volkov was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rdth minute of the game Grigoriy Afinogenov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tver's Gerasim Volkov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Leonid Sikun made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Tver's goalkeeper Gerasim Volkov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grigoriy Afinogenov. Gerasim Volkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoriy Afinogenov, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Odinzovo FC's Grigoriy Afinogenov got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grigoriy Afinogenov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gerasim Volkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Grigoriy Afinogenov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Odinzovo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigoriy Afinogenov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Odinzovo FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
