Valentin Yakovlev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After having played for 21 minutes, Vadim Shamshurin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lesnoi gorodok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vadim Shamshurin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentin Yakovlev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrey Frolov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lesnoi gorodok's Valentin Yakovlev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladislav Aristov in the 30th minute of play. Valentin Yakovlev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrey Frolov, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Stepan Sitnikov struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Aleksandr Fomichev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lesnoi gorodok. The supporters of Lesnoi gorodok booed when Novotroitsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Vlasov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes, Vadim Shamshurin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lesnoi gorodok and the Novotroitsk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valentin Vlasov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. In the 96th minute Valentin Vlasov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Yakovlev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes into the game, Lesnoi gorodok's Fedor Lytkin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aleksandr Fomichev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. Although Lesnoi gorodok had been in control for most of the match, Novotroitsk still came away with the win.
