The referee ignored Volzhsky HC's protests and gave Nikolay Gusev a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Demon Anger booed when Volzhsky HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolay Gusev didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Club Demon Anger fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Club Demon Anger's Lev Grimm looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 23 minutes into the match, Club Demon Anger's goal looked a bit too open when Mikhail Plyasov came free, but Anthimos Rigopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikhail Plyasov in the 25th minute of play forced Club Demon Anger's goalkeeper Anthimos Rigopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Club Demon Anger fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Club Demon Anger's Lev Grimm looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lev Grimm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Grizoglazov having to interfere. Mikhail Yufryakov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Volzhsky HC's Artur Grizoglazov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lev Grimm in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Mikhail Yufryakov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Demon Anger's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikhail Yufryakov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Grizoglazov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Mikhail Plyasov made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Gennadiy Ilyushin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anthimos Rigopoulos was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Volzhsky HC's goal looked a bit too open when Lev Grimm came free, but Artur Grizoglazov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lev Grimm did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Artur Grizoglazov 57 minutes into the match. When %teams%'s Lev Grimm was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-4 just inside the left pole, 63 minutes into the game. Artur Grizoglazov was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Teodosio Txomin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Volzhsky HC's Yaroslav Aleksandrov got a free kick in the 68th minute. Mikhail Yufryakov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artur Grizoglazov came out and tried to block the shot, but Mikhail Yufryakov slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikhail Plyasov in the 81st minute of play forced Club Demon Anger's goalkeeper Anthimos Rigopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mikhail Yufryakov came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Club Demon Anger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikhail Yufryakov couldn't finish the play. A nice corner shot did that Vsevolod Esipov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Artur Grizoglazov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A long shot from Vsevolod Esipov in the 93rd minute of play was well struck, but Artur Grizoglazov made a really good save at the right post. Volzhsky HC's Artur Grizoglazov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikhail Yufryakov in the 95th minute of play. The Volzhsky HC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Demon Anger were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
