In the 12th match minute, Арсенал Тула was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danil Sudakov to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the game, Vissarion Kishkinev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vladislav Prilutskiy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Konstantin Kitin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Georgiy Dunaevskiy made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Stepan Izrailev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vissarion Kishkinev scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vladislav Prilutskiy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, one of Astrakhan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Astrakhan. Veniamin Kabanov shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 47th minute, Vissarion Kishkinev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

If Vissarion Kishkinev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Арсенал Тула's zone, Vissarion Kishkinev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladislav Prilutskiy came out of the goal and Vissarion Kishkinev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Арсенал Тула's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Veniamin Kabanov in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Арсенал Тула were awarded a corner. Veniamin Kabanov went to the cornerflag to take it. 67 minutes into the match, Astrakhan's goal looked a bit too open when David Garmash came free, but Georgiy Dunaevskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, David Garmash managed to get in a good position for a shot. Арсенал Тула's supporters rose to their feet, but David Garmash was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georgiy Dunaevskiy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vissarion Kishkinev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Vladislav Prilutskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Stepan Izrailev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. If Stepan Tsvetkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Арсенал Тула's Vladislav Prilutskiy got control of the ball when Vissarion Kishkinev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vikentiy Panov shot from long distance in the 97th minute, but Vladislav Prilutskiy was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The Арсенал Тула fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Astrakhan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
