The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Lyubimtsev in the 4th minute of play forced Perm FC's goalkeeper Andron Blankov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimir Lyubimtsev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Lyubomir Ermakov notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Perm FC's Andron Blankov. Andron Blankov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th minute, Erofey Eliseev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Voronezh's Vladimir Lyubimtsev got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Lyubomir Ermakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Voronezh's Vladimir Lyubimtsev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Perm FC's Andron Blankov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Lyubimtsev in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Perm FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kirill Bolshakov hit a great ball. When Kirill Bolshakov fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perm FC's protests and gave Kirill Bolshakov a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Voronezh booed when Perm FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kirill Bolshakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Voronezh's Vladimir Lyubimtsev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andron Blankov. Andron Blankov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 44 minutes into the match, Perm FC's goalkeeper Andron Blankov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lyubomir Ermakov. Vladimir Lyubimtsev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

54 minutes into the game, Voronezh's Lyubomir Ermakov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andron Blankov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Vladimir Lyubimtsev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Andron Blankov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perm FC's Andron Blankov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Lyubimtsev in the 64th minute of play. Andron Blankov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lyubomir Ermakov's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Vladimir Lyubimtsev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andron Blankov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Vladimir Lyubimtsev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Perm FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Kirill Bolshakov hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Lyubimtsev in the 76th minute of play forced Perm FC's goalkeeper Andron Blankov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Vladimir Lyubimtsev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andron Blankov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lyubomir Ermakov in the 87th minute of play. Vladimir Lyubimtsev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andron Blankov having to interfere. In the 95th minute Lyubomir Ermakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andron Blankov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vladimir Lyubimtsev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Vladimir Lyubimtsev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Voronezh's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Lyubimtsev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andron Blankov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Voronezh walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
