But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Chepkasov couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zinoviy Barhin during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Petropavlovsk-Kamch.'s Zinoviy Barhin got a free kick in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ostap Khokhlov in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timur Malafeev saved Petropavlovsk-Kamch. from getting behind. In the 58th minute Ostap Khokhlov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timur Malafeev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Moscow FC's Ostap Khokhlov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timur Malafeev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Petropavlovsk-Kamch.'s Timur Malafeev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ostap Khokhlov in the 66th minute of play. If Igor Chepkasov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moscow FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
