Oleg Plutalov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Thanks to some nice moves Vitaliy Kaplenko could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Dmitriy Alekseev however easily saved by the left post. 53 minutes into the match, Kolomna FC's Vitaliy Kaplenko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dmitriy Alekseev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tobolsk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oskar Kirillov was slow to take the kick. During this time Kolomna FC's players had a chance to rest. Aleksey Merkulov kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kolomna FC's zone, Leonid Perepelkin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimir Leksakov came out of the goal and Leonid Perepelkin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kolomna FC played a much better game than Tobolsk and deserved their victory. The Tobolsk players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
