The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. After a rather tough play, Cherkessk's Egor Aksenov got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute of the match Ippolit Kolesnikov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valentin Boltin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Vitaliy Emohonov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitaliy Emohonov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maksim Glushkovskiy struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Valentin Boltin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penza FC. After a defensive mix-up in Penza FC's zone, Vasiliy Shurygin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Evdokimov came out of the goal and Vasiliy Shurygin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes of play, Penza FC's Maksim Glushkovskiy made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Boltin was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Cherkessk players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Penza FC.
