The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Spraays reached it. Marat Shumeiko's late challenge caught a Real Spraays's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marat Shumeiko helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Oktyabrsky getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Marat Shumeiko hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stepan Starygin in the 26th minute of play forced Oktyabrsky's goalkeeper Igor Butlerov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oktyabrsky's Igor Butlerov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Oktyabrsky from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Oktyabrsky booed when Real Spraays was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipp Dudurich didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Oktyabrsky's Ernest Kostelevskiy fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stepan Starygin to strike the kick off in the second half. Filipp Dudurich hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Ernest Kostelevskiy came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Oktyabrsky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Kostelevskiy couldn't finish the play. Georgiy Kondulainen made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ernest Kostelevskiy sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Ernest Kostelevskiy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Semen Berezutskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Georgiy Kondulainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Ernest Kostelevskiy made a precise shot to the right of Georgiy Kondulainen. Real Spraays's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Stepan Starygin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Igor Butlerov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Georgiy Kondulainen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernest Kostelevskiy in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes Oktyabrsky got a freekick which was hit by Anton Milovidov. Arseniy Sazonov, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Georgiy Kondulainen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernest Kostelevskiy in the 83rd minute. Oktyabrsky's Igor Butlerov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stepan Starygin in the 88th minute of play. When Anton Milovidov fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oktyabrsky's protests and gave Anton Milovidov a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes Oktyabrsky got a freekick which was hit by Anton Milovidov. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Oktyabrsky eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
