After a rather tough play, Kyzyl's Andrey Borisov got a free kick in the 13th minute. Aleksey Schedrin charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleksey Schedrin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Aleksey Schedrin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Aleksey Kantonistov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksey Kantonistov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikhail Maslachenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Vikentiy Nikiforov made a huge save. A collision led to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Damir Kozinenko hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Andrey Borisov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vikentiy Nikiforov was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the game, Artur Dityatin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. If Aleksey Kantonistov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
