Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lev Bortnik in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dmitriy Dobrolyubov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lev Bortnik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dmitriy Dobrolyubov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kyzyl's zone, Oleg Ershov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dmitriy Dobrolyubov came out of the goal and Oleg Ershov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Lev Bortnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dmitriy Dobrolyubov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lev Bortnik in the 26th minute of play forced Kyzyl's goalkeeper Dmitriy Dobrolyubov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Andrey Borisov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kyzyl's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rybinsk the free kick. In the 27th minute, Andrey Borisov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikhail Maslachenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrey Borisov to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrey Borisov in the 51st minute of play forced Rybinsk's goalkeeper Georgiy Vidyasov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Andrey Borisov came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Kyzyl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrey Borisov couldn't finish the play. In the 58thth minute of the game Oleg Ershov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kyzyl's Dmitriy Dobrolyubov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andrey Borisov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Georgiy Vidyasov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute of the match Arkadiy Fialkin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Georgiy Vidyasov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lev Bortnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dmitriy Dobrolyubov having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Oleg Ershov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mikhail Maslachenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Rybinsk's goal looked a bit too open when Andrey Borisov came free, but Georgiy Vidyasov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oleg Ershov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Dmitriy Dobrolyubov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Igor Lutsenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Lev Bortnik got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Oleg Ershov struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Dmitriy Dobrolyubov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rybinsk. Dmitriy Dobrolyubov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oleg Ershov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lev Bortnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dmitriy Dobrolyubov having to interfere. Dmitriy Dobrolyubov made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Lev Bortnik sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute Andrey Borisov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georgiy Vidyasov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Oleg Ershov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rybinsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oleg Ershov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Rybinsk's Lev Bortnik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dmitriy Dobrolyubov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the final whistle sounded Rybinsk left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kyzyl.
