To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yuriy Frosin came free, but Mikhail Rusakov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CSK MOSKOVA's Yuriy Frosin got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CSK MOSKOVA's Valeriy Kulakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Radchenko in the 14th minute of play. Filimon Seleznev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Valeriy Kulakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valeriy Kulakov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With 30 minutes on the clock, Ivan Chugunov commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 29 minutes into the game, one of Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. David Alshibaya kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Yuriy Frosin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikhail Rusakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes, David Alshibaya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leninsk-Kuznetsky FC and the CSK MOSKOVA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The long shot by Orest Blokhin in the 99th minute really tested Valeriy Kulakov's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
