Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Abakan FC's Pavel Gromov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Pavel Gromov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abakan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavel Gromov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petr Konstantinov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yuriy Dmitrienko kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Yuriy Dmitrienko hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Elets's Petr Konstantinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Gromov in the 20th minute of play. After 22 minutes, Aleksandr Averchenko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abakan FC and the Elets players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Elets booed when Abakan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksandr Averchenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Filipp Klimenkov sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Abakan FC's Stepan Shilov didn't even have to move. Timur Vinokurov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Petr Konstantinov made a huge save. Stepan Shilov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonid Katolichuk in the 29th minute of the match. Danil Primakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Stepan Shilov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonid Katolichuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stepan Shilov having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Andrey Karakosov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Stepan Shilov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Danil Primakov made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Abakan FC got a freekick which was hit by Boris Kimov. Stepan Shilov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danil Primakov in the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Andrey Karakosov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elets's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrey Karakosov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stepan Shilov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Kirill Sannikov fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abakan FC's protests and gave Kirill Sannikov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Abakan FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Kirill Sannikov hit a great ball. Filipp Klimenkov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stepan Shilov. Abakan FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 78th minute Pavel Gromov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Konstantinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danil Primakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Stepan Shilov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonid Katolichuks short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Stepan Shilov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 90th minute Danil Primakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stepan Shilov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stepan Shilov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danil Primakov, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Petr Konstantinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Vinokurov in the 95th minute of play. Elets's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
